Full Professor in Cybersecurity

1. Job description

* Thematic and research challenges

The raise of fully connected infrastructures has recently emphasized the crucial needs for cybersecurity in critical contexts, such as complex industrial processes and plants or large infrastructures such as harbors, should they be military or civil. These contexts mean heterogenous software components and subsystems, high use of various kinds of networks, and often rely on innovative approaches in designing secure systems of systems.

The expected focus activity should globally address these emerging challenges and therefore cover research fields and application domains such as:
	• detection of intrusions, attacks and failures,
	• data protection (quality, digital trust, etc.),
	• systems and software protection mechanisms,
	• design of complex systems (systems of systems) dealing with the constraints and expectations in cybersecurity,
	• security by design,
	• machine learning and cybersecurity
	• protection of the maritime and port infrastructures,
	• industry 4.0 including factory of the future and digital twin,
	• transport of the future.

The position will be closely connected to 3 research Chairs in progress:
	• Cyber Defense of Naval Systems
	• Cyber CNI
	• and Industry of the Future

The candidate is expected to be a leader in the cybersecurity domain at national and international level.
