Fixed Term appointment for up to 3 years 
Research Assistant salary in the range: £28,770 - £31,880 per annum
Research Associate salary in the range: £32,750 - £34,500 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Assistant at the pre-doctoral level or Research Associate at the post-doctoral level for the FP7 project "Confidential and Compliant Clouds". The purpose of the project is to allow cloud users to securely and privately share their data through a combination of data sharing agreement and usage control policy enforcement. The project covers enforcement in the cloud as well as on mobile platforms.

We are looking for applicants with a strong computing or engineering background, and in particular a proven track record in one of the following areas. 

* Complex Software Architectures and Architectural Integration
* Digital Rights Management, Privacy and/or Usage Control
* Policies for access control, data protection and privacy.
* Cloud and Mobile Security
* Enforcement of Policy based architectures on Cloud and Mobile Infrastructures
